Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have a doctor's referral or prescription to be seen?

No. Colorado is a direct access state that allows you to see a physical therapist without a doctor’s referral. This means you don’t have to make that extra stop at the doctor’s office when you’ve slept funny and have neck pain the next morning, just give us a call and we can get you on the way to feeling better.

What insurances do you accept?

In order to provide prompt, high-quality, one-on-one care, Be You Physical Therapy & Wellness is out of network with all insurance companies. Being out of network allows us to offer longer treatments, and offer more specialized, individualized care. We are happy to provide you a superbill (basically a medical invoice) after your session that you may submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement or to apply to your deductible after treatment. Payment is due at the time of service.

What sets Be You apart from other physical therapy clinics?

At Be You we offer one-on-one treatments with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, during which time is spent listening and trying to get to the root of your problem, and not just address the symptoms. Each treatment session can vary depending on your needs and presentation that day. We have the time to listen to you and make sure that we are helping you achieve the goals that YOU want, not just what the insurance company thinks you need.

Do I have to have an injury or pain to be treated at Be You?

Having an acute injury or long standing pain is not required to do physical therapy at Be You. You can often feel when your body isn’t moving right or perhaps that your posture could use some improvement. Physical therapy can help you address these things to get your body stronger and moving better to help prevent injury and pain in order to help keep you doing the things that make you happy.
